Emotion Focus Therapy Training - Level 1
Description
Level 1 is an intensive 4-day program that provides therapists with the knowledge and skills they need to work more directly with emotions in their practice. Participants will be trained in the skills through a combination of short lectures, video demonstrations, live demonstrations, case discussions and supervised practice in small groups (using participants' personal material).
The Treatment Focused on Feeling (Emotion-Focused Therapy) is a human, empirically documented psychotherapeutic approach integrates person-treatment, treatment Gestalt and Focusing. It has been shown to be particularly effective in treating depression, trauma and anxiety difficulties. It is an internationally recognized treatment through the work of Les Greenberg, Robert Elliott, Jeanne Watson, Rhonda Goldman, Sandra Paivio, Antonio Pascual-Leone and others.
Who it is aimed at
It is recommended that this seminar accompanies or precedes the level 2 seminar. However, it is not required that you have already attended EFT Level 1. Due to the experiential nature of the seminar, the number of participants is limited and priority will be given to participants following the EFT certification process.

Level 1 is the first step towards certification in Emotion Focused Therapy by the International Society for Emotion-Focused Therapy (ISEFT) .
The teacher is recognized by ISEFT and will be given a certificate of attendance at the end of the training (for those who complete all 4 days of training).
